Dr. Hannah grew up in Lisbon, Ohio, and moved to the area after graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2022. She grew up with horses and cattle while being active in 4-H, showing dairy beef feeders and market steers. She attended Ohio State and received a degree in Animal Sciences before beginning her veterinary education.
Dr. Hannah has been raising and showing beef cattle for many years now, and she continues to travel state and nationally showing. Along with the cattle she raises, Dr. Hannah has a donkey named "Lucy," two pups named "Angel" and "Casey," and a cat named "Sassy." Dr. Hannah enjoys travelling and spending time with her cattle and on her husband's family farm.
Dr. Hannah purchased the clinic in August of 2023, and her interests include bovine, equine and small ruminant reproduction, embryo transfer, small and large surgery and production medicine consultation services. She provides ultrasound services.
Dr. Mike Sims "Doc" is a 1974 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in West Virginia and moved to the area after graduating veterinary school. For 35 years, he was exclusively large animal but now performs our small animal surgeries in the clinic. Outside of his work in the clinic he also works with the Highland County Dog Pound.
Doc has 3 kids, Michelle, Zach and Joel. Doc and his wife, Sharon have two dogs named "Spot" and "Wrinkles". Doc and Sharon run the Sims Golf Center in Greenfield, Ohio. In his free time Doc enjoys both golfing and gardening when he's not working. He also runs field crops of corn and beans alongside his 175-200 stocker cattle.
Dr. Emily Singleton, DVM
Dr. Emily is from Wilmington, Ohio. She attended Ohio State ATI where she completed her Associate's Degree of Sciences and then transferred to the Columbus campus where she completed her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Biosciences. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2026.
When not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her signifigant other, Ethan, on his familly farm where they operate a small dairy herd and hay farm. At home Dr. Emily and Ethan have an Australian Cattle dog named Blue and a cat named Smokey.
Dr. Emily's interests include both small and large animal ruminent reproduction, and commercial production consultations. She joined our team Spring of 2026!
Dr. Jacob Bills, DVM
Dr. Bills graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2026. His interests include small and large animal surgery, advanced reproductive work in all species (especially bovine embryo transfer), as well as general preventative medicine.
Growing up in Clark County, Ohio, he showed beef steers, dairy feeders, dairy females, and market chickens through 4H and FFA. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Findlay where he was active in campus ministries and the show cattle team.
Dr. Bills is married to his wife, Bailey, who is also a veterinarian in the area! Together they have two cats, Theo and Sushi. In his free time, Dr. Bills is an avid outdoorsman and loves checking out local breweries. He is eager to join the community and provide care to your animals!
Megan is our practice manager and has been with us since fall of 2021. She is also a Registered Veterinary Technician and graduated from the Bradford Vet Tech Institute in 2018 at the top of her class.
Megan and her husband, Jimmy, have two sons - Grant and Case. Megan and Jimmy also have multiple four-legged children, including 3 dogs - Jake, Simmi, Doc, and a cat named Paps. Megan enjoys outdoor activities and providing field meals for the family farm.
Megan is very organized and brings many wonderful attributes to our practice. She especially enjoys doing dental procedures and extracting teeth. She is also an excellent phlebotomist - especially with jugulars!
Bre is a Registered Veterinary Technician who joined our team in the fall of 2023. She attended Sinclair Community College where she obtained a degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2022.
Bre lives on a family farm with her husband, Dale and their son- Walter, where they help to raise crops and a cow-calf operation alongside his family. Together they have two dogs- Bruno and Bristol, a cat- Willow, and a small flock of ducks.
Bre is our lead technician who spends most of her time in the back running diagnostics, taking radiographs, obtaining blood, and monitoring surgery. She works to keep the flow of the clinic in good order.
Ally is a Greenfield native and has been working as a veterinary assistant since spring of 2021. Ally grew up on her family's cattle and crop farm and has had a love for animals since a young age. Ally previously attended Wilmington College where she obtained a degree in Animal Sciences. She is now a student at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, set to graduate in 2028.
Ally enjoys fostering stray cats, and she regularly jokes about her "Catio." In addition to her many cats, Ally has five dogs - Ruby, Maizey, Indi, Remi, and Tex. She enjoys fishing, swimming, camping and many other outdoor activities. She is the eldest of 4 sisters - "The Beatty Girls" - and brings a great sense of humor and personality everywhere she goes!
Anya Matthews, Veterinary Assistant
Anya is a 2020 Veterinary Assistant graduate from Scarlett Oaks in Cincinnati, Ohio. Anya joined our team summer of 2024 with a wide variety of experience with animals ranging from previous veterinary assistant experience, 4H dog training, the grooming industry, equine training and showing, rescue assisting and various other aspects of helping animals.
Anya enjoys animals of all types, shapes and sizes from exotic to farm to home pets. Although Anya enjoys all animals and has since she was a little girl, she has always found her peace and strongest connection with horses and dogs.
Anya currently enjoys spending time with her senior German Shepherd, Kota and dreams of someday soon owning her own farmhouse with a herd of horses. Anya also loves spending time with her family, especially her baby boy born this past Christmas. She aims to be a better version of herself daily and never forgets to be thankful for God for his grace and blessings. She also enjoys music, fashion and being outdoors.
Anya is excited to be a part of our team and looks forward to learning new skills and education, as well as meet all clients, human and fur friend alike.
Madison Sturgell, Receptionist/ Veterinary Assistant
Maddie is one of our veterinary assistants who joined our team in 2024. She is a 2023 graduate of Pickaway Ross CTC veterinary assisting and plans to go to school to become a veterinary technician in the near future. She enjoys working with large animals, especially our equine and bovine patients. She spends her free time barrel racing and spending time with her significant other, Lane. At the end of the day, she goes home to her two dogs, Earl & Dixie, and her horse, Jazzy.
Gracee Stewart, Veterinary Assistant
Gracee is a veterinary assistant who is also a certified Magnawave practitioner. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2025 with a degree in Animal Science. She plans to attend veterinary school in the future. She grew up as an active member in 4-H and FFA. In her free time, she cares for her various farm animals and shows livestock across the country. At home Gracee has 4 cats, a pet goat named “Snoop Dog”, and a box turtle.
Alyssa Sizemore, Veterinary Assistant
Alyssa is our newest veterinary assistant who is currently enrolled in Sinclair Community College's Veterinary Technology program. She is set to graduate in May of 2027 as a Veterinary Technician.
She is originally from West Chester and recently moved to the area about 4 years ago with her husband, Zach. Together, they have two horses, Hughie and Stonie, two dogs, Sunnie and Diamond, as well as a few kitties around the barn!
Alyssa has always loved all sorts of creatures and started volunteering at horse rescues when she was 7 years old. Outside of work, she enjoys trail riding, gardening, and generally the great outdoors.
